Asadu Boniface U, is an academic librarian at Nnamadi Azikiwe Library University of Nigeria, Nsukka. He was during his primary school days at Umakashi/Achalla Joint Primary School Nsukka the prefect in all the classes he stayed. He attended Ezeagu Secondary School Ezeagu in Enugu State between 1976-1981, and was made the senior prefect of the school in 1981. Asadu, B. U. became a University Staff as a Library Attendant in 1984 and grew through the ranks to Chief library assistant in 2005. He holds a Diploma in Mass Communication, B. A. (Hons.) in Mass Communication (Nig.) and a Master Degree in Library and Information Science. In 2007 he was converted to lectureship cadre as librarian II, moved to librarian I in 2008 and promoted to Senior Librarian in 2011. He has published papers in reputable local and international journals. He is presently contributing to library education by teaching at the undergraduate level and a member of Nigerian Library Association (NLA). He is currently conducting a research on Use of Modern Technologies for Effective Preservation of Students Electronic Academic Records in Nigerian Universities. Asadu is hardworking, proactive and resilient. He hardly compromises high personal standards. His hobbies are reading, writing and listening to music. He is also a foot-ball fan.
