Mrs Akpom Chinwendu Chizoba is a very proficient Librarian and is currently the sectional head of cataloguing section of the University of Nigeria Enugu Campus library. She holds a bachelors degree and a masters degree in Library and Information Science from UNN. She is currently running a doctorate degree programme in the Library and Information Science department. She started her career in the University in June, 2009. She is an active member of the Nigeria Library Association, Enugu chapter and a Chartered Librarian of Nigeria (CLN). She is currently the assistant general secretary of Nigeria library association, Enugu State chapter. Akpom C. C has published articles in reputable journals both locally and internationally and has also presented papers in various conferences. She is involved in the teaching of the Use of Library and Study skills (GSP111). Her areas of specialization include:  Information and digital literacy, digitization and institutional repository, information management, professional training and development, collection development in libraries and knowledge management and libraries.
